RECENT CLUB NEWS 2.29.08 - Free Agency started at 12:01 a.m. without a deal for DA. Lots of people think Savage is a genius as we can get the 1st Round pick back from Brady Quinn. We also added DL through a trade with the Packers for our 2nd Round pick. Sounds like a sure thing that DA won't be a Brown next year.1.29.08 Browns Head Coach Romeo Crennel has been rewarded for his work with a two-year contract extension through the 2011 season. The Browns announced the extension Tuesday, about four weeks after Crennel guided them to a 10-win season that included a 7-1 home mark. The 10 wins matched the Browns' total from Crennel's first two seasons combined.
1.8.08 Chudzinski receives extension, Grantham fired and Tucker promoted to Defensive Coordinator from Defensive Backs coach. Shake ups on the defense expected, eager to see free agent signing.
